Gear Hire

We want all kids to have the opportunity to try Ice Hockey and as a club we assist new players in offering gear hire for the first two years so they can get out there on the ice.

The gear hire includes:

• Skates
• Helmet
• Hockey stick
• Elbow guards
• Gloves
• Shin Guards
• Hockey Socks
• Pants
• Shoulder Pads
• Training top
• Bag

Additionally children will need a mouth guard and a neck guard and these are available for purchase from the Queenstown Ice Arena. We also recommend box/shorts.

We charge a $80.00 hire fee for the season. .
The hire fee goes into a fund to help us purchase new gear.
This year all skates will be given out sharp, so no need to sharpen them on return.

The Club expects members to take good care of the equipment and may charge for wilfully damaged or lost gear.

Skate sharpenings throughout the season are available at the Ice Rink.

GEAR COLLECTION DAY

Queenstown Ice Arena
Come on down to the ice rink to collect / exchange your rental gear for the season.  We'll have a sausage sizzle and the garden bar will be open for a refreshing drink.  We'll also be running a raffle to raise money for our U12's, so grab the family and come on down!
