Learn to Play Ice Hockey Free Trial

The Queenstown Ice Hockey Club ‘Learn to Play’ program is run during term 2 and 3 at Queenstown Ice Arena.

Everyone learns basic hockey skills and game play, with the emphasis on fun and best of all, no prior experience is necessary!

Our Learn to Play program caters for kids from 5 years of age through to teenagers. We coach kids in groups at the same level and will usually have 4 or 5 groups on the ice, all at different skill levels and abilities.

As part of your free trial, we will supply all ice hockey gear required for your child. Simply book in for your free trial below, and we'll take care of the rest.

Our Learn to Play program takes place at Queenstown Ice Arena as follows:

2024 Term 2 (April 29th - July 7th):

Tuesdays 4:15pm – 5:15pm: Learn to Play & Under 12 training
Thursdays 4:15pm – 5:15pm: Learn to Play & Under 12 - Super Hero League

2024 Term 3 (July 22nd - September 29th):

Tuesdays 4:15pm – 5:15pm: Learn to Play & Under 12 training
Thursdays 4:15pm – 5:15pm: Learn to Play & Under 12 - Super Hero League
